About Centre Labelle Centre
The Labelle Centre is a learning integration center affiliated with the Université de Hearst, specializing in bilingual psychological assessment and psychosocial intervention for populations in Northeastern Ontario. The center collaborates with regional organizations to design and implement psychosocial assessment and intervention projects that meet the mental health and psychological well-being needs of local communities. It also offers psychology students practical experience in a professional setting, providing training and internships to apply academic knowledge in the field. Its services include training and workshops such as the safeTALK and ASIST programs, tailored to professionals and the public interested in mental health support.
