About Centre de Santé Communautaire de Kapuskasing
The Kapuskasing and Region Community Health Centre offers a range of multidisciplinary primary health care, including medical consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and referral to specialists. It also provides mental health services, offering individual, family, and couples therapy sessions. It also provides dietary services for nutrition education and the prevention of diet-related diseases. As part of its community mission, the centre conducts health promotion and prevention activities, encourages community participation to improve collective well-being, and manages an Aging at Home program dedicated to supporting seniors and their caregivers to help them remain in their homes. It particularly serves Francophone populations without a primary care provider, with an emphasis on accessible services in French. Some community activities may require membership or registration.
