About Far Northeast Training Board
Far Northeast Training Board (FNETB) / Commission de formation du Nord-Est (CFNE) is a non-profit, community-based workforce planning organization serving Northeastern Ontario from Hearst to Latchford, including Timmins, Chapleau, Hornepayne, and communities along the James Bay coast. As one of Ontario's Local Workforce Planning Boards, FNETB works with employers, educators, labour organizations, municipalities, and community partners to analyze labour market trends, support workforce development, and develop collaborative solutions that address regional employment and skills needs. Through research, partnerships, and labour market information, FNETB helps strengthen the region's workforce and supports economic growth across Northern Ontario.
