About Contact North
Contact North is a distance education network funded by the Ontario government that aims to help residents, particularly those in rural, remote, or northern communities, access online programs and courses offered by Indigenous colleges, universities, and institutes without leaving their communities. Each community served has Education & Training Advisors who guide individuals through program selection, registration, access to technology, and support resources. Contact North also offers a technology help desk, a laptop loaner service, and access to computer workstations, high-speed internet, videoconferencing, and other tools to facilitate distance learning.
