About North Star Air
North Star Air is a Canadian airline that provides passenger, cargo, and charter flight services. Headquartered in Thunder Bay, Ontario, it serves many remote communities across Northern Ontario and Northern Manitoba. The airline operates a “Flex Flight” network that combines scheduled services with on-demand flights, allowing flexibility to meet the varied needs of small communities. It also maintains cargo depots— including one in Kapuskasing—for handling freight and parcels. Its fleet of about 19 aircraft is outfitted to operate in northern climates and on short gravel airstrips. Among its services are charter flights across North America, freight transport, fuel delivery, and small parcel services.
