About Kapuskasing & District Health Care Recruitment & Retention
Kapuskasing & District Health Care Recruitment & Retention is a committee comprising representatives from municipalities in the region (from Opasatika to Smooth Rock Falls) and Sensenbrenner Hospital. It coordinates initiatives aimed at attracting, recruiting, and retaining health care professionals in the region. It works, among other things, on a “Return for Service” program to encourage physicians to settle in the area, in collaboration with hospitals, municipalities, and other partners.
