The Cochrane District Social Services Administration Board (CDSSAB / CDSB) is an organization that plans, coordinates, and delivers several provincially mandated social services in the Cochrane District. Among its services, the CDSSAB provides: Administration of Ontario Works (financial assistance to people in need) Social and affordable housing services, including housing management, homelessness programs, and housing subsidies Children's services, including daycare, support services for children with special needs, and after-school programs Paramedic/emergency medical services in the region Employment/job seeker services, including workshops, placements, job search assistance, and training
