About Rufus Lake Outfitters Inc.
Rufus Lake Outfitters is a hunting and fishing outfitter in northeastern Ontario, near Kapuskasing. They offer year-round packages for fishing, moose hunting, bear hunting, small game, and migratory birds. Accommodations include 1- to 3-bedroom cottages with full kitchens, wood heating, running water (non-potable), and solar lighting. The camp also provides facilities like a fish cleaning station, shower building, and a central firepit for guest gatherings. Founded in 1997, the lodge passed from father to son in 2021, and is now managed by Aidan Wilkins. Although remote, the camp is accessible by road and operates on the Opasatika Lake complex.
