Kapuskasing River Walleye Tournament
The Kapuskasing River Walleye Tournament is an annual sporting event that brings together fishing enthusiasts from across the region. Organized as part of the Northern Ontario Walleye Trail, it emphasizes responsible angling through a catch-and-release format. The event promotes camaraderie, fair competition, and appreciation for the area’s natural heritage. Beyond the competition itself, it serves as a key community gathering that supports local tourism and strengthens the sense of belonging within the Kapuskasing community.
