Northern Star Janitorial Services Ltd. was established by Kamal Mann in 2025 in Timmins, with the goal of providing dependable, locally owned cleaning services to businesses and organizations throughout Northern Ontario. The company was founded to meet the growing demand for professional, reliable, and community-focused cleaning services while supporting the region under the motto “From North, For North.”
Since its establishment, it has expanded its services beyond routine commercial cleaning to include deep cleaning, floor care and VCT refinishing, carpet cleaning, post-construction cleanup, washroom sanitation, and customized cleaning programs for commercial, institutional, and municipal clients. Today it continues to grow its presence across Northern Ontario and is proud to be an OECM Registered Supplier and a member of the Northern Corridor Chamber of Commerce, delivering quality, reliability, and exceptional customer service to every client.
A wide range of professional cleaning and facilities support services for commercial, institutional, and municipal clients throughout Northern Ontario. Services offered include: commercial cleaning – offices, retail stores, banks, and professional buildings; institutional cleaning – schools, community centres, healthcare facilities, and municipal buildings; floor care services – stripping, waxing, VCT refinishing, burnishing, and routine floor maintenance; carpet cleaning – extraction cleaning and spot treatment; deep cleaning services – seasonal cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, and detailed sanitization; washroom sanitation – cleaning, disinfecting, and replenishment of consumable supplies; post-construction cleaning – removal of dust and debris following renovations or construction projects; window and glass cleaning – interior glass and entrance areas; customized cleaning programs – daily, weekly, or scheduled services tailored to each client’s needs; and supply management – provision and monitoring of paper products, garbage bags, hand soap, and other janitorial consumables.
